• Application: The park expansion is a significant community investment initiated in 2020. This multi-sport complex spans over 80 acres, featuring numerous athletic fields, support buildings and essential amenities. Now entering Phase 2, the project continues to enhance its recreational capacity, serving as a key community asset. 
  

Challenge: The park’s renovations faced geotechnical and construction hurdles. Varying soil conditions and high water tables threatened structural stability. Efficient, reliable drainage was vital to maintain playable fields and protect infrastructure from water damage, all while meeting tight timelines.

Solution: To address these challenges, the project’s contractors deployed the Hydraway Drainage System (12-inch panels). This system was strategically integrated across the site to manage subsurface water effectively and protect the integrity of the playing fields and surrounding areas. The Hydraway Drainage System ensured efficient water collection and discharge, preventing saturation, while maintaining optimal conditions for the park’s facilities.

Result: The implementation of the Hydraway Drainage System yielded exceptional results for the Plummer Family Park expansion. The system proved highly effective in managing subsurface water, significantly improving field playability and protecting the overall investment in the park’s infrastructure from moisture-related issues.
